Air conditioning
Plastic profiles can be found in every air conditioning unit: as frame profiles, ventilation ducts, multi-wall sheets or seals. Heller Kunststoffe manufactures these components to customer specification, from cushioned versions to dual-hardness compounds, matched to your unit and your assembly.
Where our profiles sit
Tap or click the markers: typical installation points of extruded profiles in an air conditioning unit.
Frame profile
Holds housing parts and heat exchanger units precisely and keeps tolerances stable across the series.
Multi-wall sheets for ventilation
Guide the airflow through the unit: light, rigid and economical to produce.
Seal
Seals housings and flaps against air loss and vibration, as a soft component in a dual-hardness profile on request.

Which plastic profiles are used in air conditioning units?
Plastic profiles appear in practically every unit: as frame profiles, ventilation ducts, multi-wall sheets and seals. Thanks to economical production they are preferred structural components.
Does Heller manufacture sealing profiles for AC units to drawing?
Yes, it is one of our focus areas: seals for air conditioning units are custom-made to drawing or sample, as dual-hardness compounds with a soft sealing lip on request.
Are cushioned profiles possible for HVAC?
Yes, cushioned plastic profiles are part of our documented range, for example to decouple vibrating components.
What does fungicide treatment mean for HVAC profiles?
In humid environments, mould growth can be an issue. On request we process fungicide-treated materials that counteract growth on the profile.
