Shower enclosure with water-repellent plastic profile

Sanitation

Water-repellent sealing profiles for showers, shower doors and shower enclosures are essential for a clean wet room. Heller Kunststoffe manufactures these special profiles for private and public wet areas: permanently elastic, precisely matched to glass thickness and fittings, fungicide-treated on request.

PERMANENT HUMIDITY AS OPERATING STATE

Water finds every gap

Guide water, not just stop it

A water deflector guides run-off water back into the shower. The lip geometry decides whether that happens quietly and reliably.

Chemistry every day

Cleaning agents, limescale removers, soap residue: the material must stay resistant without discolouring or embrittling.

Glass is unforgiving

On real glass every tolerance shows. We manufacture precisely to glass thickness and fitting system, sampled before series production.

Transparent plastic profile in the studio

Soft, clear, resistant

Soft PVC-P and TPE settings keep the sealing lip supple; transparent versions recede visually behind the glass.

FAQ: Sanitation profiles

Which profiles does Heller manufacture for sanitation?

Water-repellent sealing profiles for showers, shower doors and shower enclosures: our special plastic profiles are used in all wet room areas, private and public.

What makes a good shower sealing profile?

It guides water reliably back into the shower, stays permanently elastic despite humidity and cleaning agents, and mounts cleanly on glass or frame.

Are transparent profiles possible?

Yes, for shower applications we also manufacture transparent and translucent profiles that visually recede behind the glass.

Does fungicide treatment help against mould?

Fungicide-treated materials counteract mould growth on the profile, especially in permanently humid zones. The treatment is one of the special options of our manufacturing.
