Which plastic profiles does Heller manufacture for automotive applications?
Our production covers protection profiles, clamping profiles, seals for skylights and bodywork as well as edge protection and mounting profiles for the interior. Every profile is custom-made to drawing, sample or installation situation.
Does Heller deliver automotive profiles fabricated?
Yes. Profiles are delivered punched, cut to length or as fully welded frames. The complete range is shown in the fabrication chapter.
Are dual-hardness compounds possible for vehicle seals?
Yes. Co-extrusion combines two hardnesses in one profile, for example a rigid carrier with a soft sealing lip. It is one of our core competencies in manufacturing.
What quantities does Heller produce for the automotive industry?
From small series to running production volumes. After tool completion you receive samples for trials; series production starts on one of our 20 extrusion lines after your approval.
